Website Redesign & Build
Arcadia Tattoo Company is a local tattoo shop in Scottsdale, AZ. The company’s current website is setup through Shopify, and has a number of organizational and visual issues. For this project, the website was to be redesigned to clean up the appearance and make it more cohesive with their brand, as well as to reorganize the content in a way that makes sense and is easy for users to follow.

Wire-Framing
To begin the project, I used Figma to create some basic wireframe layouts for the Home page, the Appointment Booking page, the About the Artists pages, & the page in which users can purchase a gift card. At this stage, I decided on word and image placement, hierarchy of information, and how each page would function.
Design & Mockups
The next step in the project was to decide on a color pallet and feel for the website, and then to mock up the site. This step was the most important because the design of the website was the most lacking, and the company needed to be well represented online. In order to achieve this, I used colors from the artwork included on their current website, as well as colors that appear in the actual shop itself.
The Final Product
When the mockups were finished, I was able to move into VSCode to build out the actual site. Ultimately, the new multipage website included easy to follow information, and easy to use forms which help potential clients to get the information they need. I began the build by creating all of the pages in HTML, followed by adding the brand styles in using CSS. This site also includes a bit of JavaScript functionality on some pages.
